Focus

KHIDMAT: Jurnal Penerapan Ilmu dan Pemberdayaan Berkelanjutan focuses on the integration of interdisciplinary and multi-perspective knowledge that contributes substantially to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The journal prioritizes scholarly works that employ participatory and collaborative approaches in community engagement and empowerment, including Community-Based Research (CBR), Participatory Action Research (PAR), and Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD).

Scope

The journal welcomes manuscripts related to, but not limited to, the following thematic areas:

  1. Economic Empowerment and MSMEs
    Development and mentoring of local enterprises, creative economy strengthening, microfinance management, community-based entrepreneurship, business partnerships, and digital transformation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
  2. Application of Appropriate Technology
    Design, adaptation, and implementation of environmentally friendly and appropriate technologies for agriculture, livestock, fisheries, household industries, productivity enhancement, and sustainable waste management.
  3. Sustainable Education and Literacy
    Improvement of non-formal education quality, digital literacy, financial literacy, life skills education, vocational training, and inclusive learning initiatives for vulnerable and marginalized communities.
  4. Public Health and Well-being
    Community health promotion, nutrition improvement and stunting prevention programs, sanitation and hygiene interventions, local food security, and community-based health initiatives.
  5. Social Innovation and Community Governance
    Empowerment of youth, women, persons with disabilities, and local communities through participatory governance, institutional strengthening, social entrepreneurship, and active citizen engagement models.
  6. Environmental Conservation and Disaster Mitigation
    Climate change adaptation education, conservation of natural resources and biodiversity, sustainable waste management, disaster risk reduction, and community-based disaster preparedness programs.
