TAUTAN: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora publishes articles under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Authors retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. Users may read, copy, redistribute, and adapt the published material in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the journal, a link to the license is provided, and any changes are indicated. Adapted material must be distributed under the same license.

The following terms describe the publication agreement between the authors and TAUTAN: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora.

LICENSE TO PUBLISH

1. License

Authors who publish with TAUTAN: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora agree that they retain the copyright to their work and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This license permits others to share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate attribution is given to the authors and the initial publication in TAUTAN is acknowledged. Any adapted material must be distributed under the same license.

2. Author's Warranties

The author warrants that the submitted article is original, written by the stated author or authors, and has not been previously published. The author further warrants that the article contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, and that the author holds the necessary rights to grant this license. The author is responsible for obtaining any written permissions required to reproduce or quote copyrighted material from other sources.

3. User Rights

Under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license, users may read, download, copy, share, redistribute, and adapt the published work in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that they give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, indicate whether changes have been made, and distribute adaptations under the same license.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain copyright and other rights in their work, subject to the applicable license and any separate agreements. These rights include:

1. Copyright and other intellectual property rights relating to the article, including patent rights where applicable.
2. The right to use the substance of the article in their future works, including lectures, books, and other scholarly publications.
3. The right to reproduce and distribute their work for their own purposes, subject to the terms of the applicable license and any relevant agreements.
4. The right to deposit and self-archive the article in repositories or on personal and institutional websites, in accordance with the applicable license and journal policies.

5. Co-Authorship

If the article has been prepared jointly with other authors, the person accepting this agreement confirms that they are authorized to do so on behalf of all co-authors. The corresponding author is responsible for informing all co-authors of the terms of this agreement and ensuring that they agree to its provisions.

6. Termination

Any termination of this publication agreement must be handled in accordance with its terms and applicable law. Where a material breach occurs, the affected party may provide written notice requesting that the breach be remedied within a reasonable period. Any termination must not be interpreted as automatically revoking rights already granted to the public under the applicable Creative Commons license, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Royalties

Publication in TAUTAN: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora does not entitle authors to royalties or other fees from the journal for publication or for uses authorized under the applicable license, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.

8. Miscellaneous

TAUTAN: Jurnal Ilmu-Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora will publish or arrange for the publication of the article after the editorial and production processes have been successfully completed and the article has been accepted for publication. The journal reserves the right to make editorial and copyediting changes to punctuation, spelling, capitalization, formatting, and style, provided that such changes do not alter the scholarly meaning of the article without the author's approval.

The author acknowledges that the published article will be made publicly accessible free of charge. The journal may exercise the publication rights granted under this agreement and authorize relevant service providers to perform the technical and administrative activities necessary for publication, subject to the applicable license and agreements.
