License to Publish

DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi publishes articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Authors retain the copyright to their work. Users may read, copy, redistribute, and share the work in any medium or format, provided that appropriate credit is given to the authors and the journal.

The following terms describe the publication agreement between the author(s) and DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi.

1. License

Authors who publish with DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi agree to the following terms. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. The work is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. This license allows others to share, copy, redistribute, remix, transform, and build upon the work for any purpose, including commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the initial publication in DIMENSI is acknowledged. Adapted material must be distributed under the same license.

2. Author's Warranties

The author warrants that the article is original, has been written by the stated author(s), has not been published previously, contains no unlawful statements, and does not infringe the rights of any third party. The author further warrants that the copyright is held by the author(s), that the work is free from conflicting third-party rights, and that all necessary written permissions for quotations, images, or other materials from external sources have been obtained.

3. User Rights

Under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license, users may read, share, copy, distribute, and adapt the published contribution in any medium or format, subject to the license requirements. Users must provide appropriate attribution, include a link to the license, indicate whether changes have been made, and distribute adaptations under the same license.

4. Rights of Authors

Authors retain the following rights, subject to the applicable license terms and relevant law:

  1. Copyright and other proprietary rights relating to the article, including patent rights where applicable.
  2. The right to use the substance of the article in their future works, including lectures, books, and other scholarly publications.
  3. The right to reproduce and use the article for their own purposes, subject to the applicable license and legal requirements.
  4. The right to self-archive the article in an institutional repository, personal website, or other appropriate repository, subject to the applicable license terms.

5. Co-Authorship

If the article has been prepared jointly with other authors, the person signing the publication agreement confirms that they are authorized by all co-authors to enter into the agreement on their behalf. The signatory also agrees to inform all co-authors of the terms and conditions of this agreement.

6. Termination

This agreement may be terminated by the author or DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi upon two months' notice if the other party has materially breached the agreement and has failed to remedy the breach within one month after receiving written notice requesting its correction. No breach or violation of this agreement will automatically terminate any license already granted under it or invalidate the applicable license terms.

7. Royalties

This agreement does not entitle the author to royalties or other publication-related fees from DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi for the publication or use of the article, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Any separate publication charges, if applicable, must be stated transparently in the journal's official policies.

8. Miscellaneous

DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi will publish the article, or arrange for its publication, provided that the editorial process has been successfully completed and the manuscript has been formally accepted for publication. The journal reserves the right to make appropriate editorial changes to punctuation, spelling, capitalization, and style to ensure consistency, without altering the scholarly meaning of the work.

The author acknowledges and agrees that the article will be made publicly accessible without charge to readers in accordance with the journal's open access policy. DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi may authorize third parties to exercise rights granted under this agreement only to the extent permitted by the applicable license and relevant law.

All articles published in DIMENSI: Jurnal Sains dan Teknologi are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0) license. Authors and users are expected to comply with the terms of this license when publishing, sharing, reproducing, or adapting the work.
