Submissions

Author Guidelines

1. Manuscripts submitted to Khidmah: Journal of Community Service and Innovation must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by other journals or publishers during the review process. Authors must complete a Statement of Originality and Copyright Transfer Form (Form A). The journal uses Turnitin Similarity Check to detect plagiarism.
2. Submitted manuscripts must not violate ethical standards or bioethical research principles.
3. The journal is published twice a year.

Manuscript Preparation

1. Manuscripts must be written in Indonesia / English using proper academic language. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to use professional proofreading or language editing services before submission.
2. Manuscripts must be prepared in Microsoft Word format. Graphs should be created using Microsoft Excel, while figures should be submitted in JPEG or PDF format.
3. Manuscripts should use Time News Roman font with appropriate academic formatting.

4. Manuscripts should be approximately 9–15 pages on A4 paper size with the following margins:

   Top: 2.5 cm
   Left: 2.5 cm
   Right: 2 cm
   Bottom: 2 cm
   Manuscripts must be typed in single spacing, justified alignment, and single-column format except for large tables or figures.

5. The manuscript should consist of the following sections:
   • Introduction
   • Method
   • Results and Discussion
   • Conclusion and Suggestions
   • Acknowledgment
   • References
6. The title must be concise, clear, and represent the content of the manuscript.
7. Author names should be written below the title, followed by affiliations and email addresses.
8. The abstract must be written in English and include the objectives, methods, and main findings of the study.
9. Authors are encouraged to follow reporting standards such as:
   • STROBE for observational studies
   • SRQR for qualitative studies
   • PRISMA for review articles
   • CARE for case reports
   • CONSORT for clinical trials
10. Keywords should reflect important concepts or terms related to the manuscript.
11. References must follow APA 7th Edition citation style.
12. Most references should be from publications within the last six years.
13. Manuscripts must follow the official journal template.
14. Manuscripts must be submitted in *.doc format through the Open Journal System (OJS).
15. All author identities must be completed in the OJS metadata, including:

• Full name
• Email address
• Affiliation
• Short biography

16. All communication regarding manuscript submission, review, and editorial decisions will be conducted through the registered email and OJS system.
