Plagiarism and Academic Integrity

Plagiarism refers to the use of ideas, data, or wording from another source without proper acknowledgment. Whether intentional or unintentional, it constitutes a serious violation of academic ethics.

All specific information such as names, dates, statistics, or factual data must be properly cited unless classified as common knowledge. The use of ideas, methodologies, or theoretical frameworks from other sources must also be acknowledged, even if further developed by the author.

Direct quotations must include both citation and quotation marks. Copying four or more consecutive words requires clear identification as a direct quote.

The editorial board reserves the right to retract or withdraw any article found to violate plagiarism policies. Authors seeking clarification regarding citation practices are encouraged to contact the editorial office.
