Model Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) Berbasis Integrasi Sains Agama pada Ayat Kauniyah: Dampak Terhadap Literasi Sains dan Spiritualitas

Abstract
Purpose: This study aims to develop and test a PAI learning model based on science-religion integration on Kauniyah verses to improve students' scientific literacy and spirituality.
Design/Methodology: A Research and Development (R&D) study using the 4D model, followed by a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest design involving 68 eleventh-grade students. Instruments included scientific literacy tests and spirituality scales
Findings: The model was highly valid (4.52/5) and practical. Scientific literacy improved significantly in the experimental group (N-Gain = 0.69) compared to the control group (0.32). Spirituality also increased significantly (N-Gain = 0.72 vs. 0.28).
Originality/Value: This study offers a novel pedagogical framework that bridges the dichotomy between science and religion in Islamic education, specifically targeting the synergistic development of scientific literacy and spirituality through Kauniyah verses.
